Bert Tilley, a.k.a. 144b, was a well-liked capper who brought laughter to many through the hilarious captions he posted at (the now defunct) "Caption This", "Inventing Situations", and "The Cap-Page Board". He was famous among the cappers for the incredibly wonderful stories he created. And though his spelling skills left much to be desired, he took all the good-natured ribbing his fellow cappers gave him with a great attitude. The stories, the adventures in spelling, the captions, they all served to endear everyone to him. We miss you, Bert.

I hate that it's taken me this long to post this page, and also that I don't have very many captions of Bert's saved. But there are a few in my Hall of Fame galleries, and other cappers have created some really nice tribute caption galleries for Bert, as well. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check them out.
